Meagan Good's mother Tyra was just a teenager at the time she was employed for Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. Her family consisted of three brothers within Canyon Country in California and began acting at the age of four. At the beginning of her career, she was an extra in television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. She was 13 when she made her debut in the film, Friday. First gaining attention in 1997 for her role as Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) on Eve's Bayou, for which she received two nominations, and received her N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good was a small part of TV and film shows over in the following years. At the start of 2000, she began taking part in roles that were more mature. Her Nickelodeon TV show Cousins Skeeter included her in the role of Nina. It ran from 1998 until 2001. She also had minor roles in the films House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). In 2003, she portrayed Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was a part of D.E.B.S in 2004, a action comedy that saw her nominated for Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards of 2005. In the following years, she was in a variety of films, including Cookout Venom Waist Deep and The Love Guru. When she was active in 2012 she was also appearing on T.V. and films, she portrayed the character of Mya in the multi-starring Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer was born in Texas originally, attended Baylor University Waco Texas. She graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor's degree. The year she graduated, Killmer received an award in performance art. The actress began her screen career in 2010 in the web series If You Can Dream. Kara Killmer debuted on screen after appearing in a variety of local plays in Simon Fuller's Hulu-series If I Can Dream pilot in the year 2010. The Hulu series If I Can Dream is centered around the lives of a bunch of musicians who live on the streets of Hollywood California.

She grew up with her three siblings in Canyon Country in California and began acting when she was just four years old.
