Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. Alison Maria Krauss began her career in music at a young age and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age fourteen. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and released her first solo album in 1987. She was asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
